I've known about this magical mushroom for quite some time, but just recently did it start calling out to me. So I began my journey with this new friend by simply replacing the water in my recipes with Chaga tea.

First I did this with rice... and it was so good. Even my 8 year old loved it.

So of course, I tried bread next. I brewed a more potent tea over a couple days, then mixed it with my flour blend and 36 hours later... I baked these 4 loaves. YES!!!! I knew they would be good... and they totally were.

Now I'm making MORE but with an even more potent tea.

I've been brewing this last giant pot of tea for OVER TWO WEEKS (!!) on a constant low heat for an extra dark full spectrum extraction. And now that tea is ready to make some bread.

It's soooo dark with a deep amber hue.
