I’ve always loved rye bread.
When I lived in New York City studying architecture, rye bread was everywhere. From Katz’s Deli to H & H Bagels and the little bakeries in Williamsburg — I ate a lot of it.
But I was always paying the price later with migraines.
At the time, I didn’t understand why.
Years later I discovered the connection: gluten was affecting my brain.
Fast forward to today, and our Rye-less Rye Bread has won two First Place awards at the World Bread Awards.
But the pumpernickel version had not quite manifested yet…
